Description of activities:
Glavstroy-Development, Glavstroy-Spb and RogSibAl are responsible for development.

"Glavstroy-Development" is the head organization for the development business. Companies of the development division are spread across Russia, covering the Moscow region, Saint Petersburg (‘Glavstroy-Spb'), Krasnodar Territory (RogSibAl').

First and foremost, the development division is geared toward absorbing as many big areas as possible, revamping the image of the contemporary city, creating self-sufficient city neighbourhoods and large multifunctional centres.

The division's companies are also active in the area of real estate services (Glavmosstroy-Realty).


 

Glavstroy-SPB focuses on the full development of large territories, the quality transformation of the urban environment and creation of self-contained urban districts.

Projects include the Northern Valley and Yuntolovo residential districts (more than 6 mln m2 of housing and social infrastructure) in St. Petersburg; and the renovation of the Apraksin Dvor trade complex, one of St. Petersburg's landmarks (approx. 350,000 m2).


RogSibal

Presently the RogSibAl's key project is the construction of the Main Olympic Village and the Complex of buildings and structures for the accommodation of the Olympic Family and the International Paralympic Committee in the Adler district of Sochi. The construction work is being conducted in strict accordance with international construction and environmental standards. After the 2014 Olympic Games the buildings will become a multifunctional recreation complex.

Moscow's Deindustrialization

The Glavstroy Corporation, owned by OLeg Deripaska, is reviving a project to build its own industrial zones. In late August, the Corporation's management decided to relocate the production areas of its Moscow enterprises outside the Moscow Ring Road, and to build 1.5 million sqm of residential and commercial property on this territory.

New contract for Transstroy

Transstroy has signed a 1.25 billion ruble contract with SIBUR-Portenergo for the construction of the LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) and light-oil product transshipment complex in the Ust-Luga harbor.
